This weekend has been crazy for me. My children haven’t been sleeping all that well, which means I am not sleeping. Plus I have been bogged down with homework for school. This morning, the morning of Super Sunday, my youngest woke me up at 5 am, again! I was up rather late last night trying to get as much homework done as I could, so needless to say, I got about 3 hours of sleep the entire night. The night before last I got about 4 hours of sleep due to my youngest being sick throughout the night and my son waking up at 5 am. Anyways, this morning I was so exhausted I could hardly keep my eyes open. I could feel myself trying to make excuses as to why I couldn’t make it to the event. Thankfully my husband believes in not just me, but Beachbody, so he convinced me to go.
We dropped off our kids at my parents and headed over to the event. When we first pulled up no one was really there, so we sat in the car. As we sat there, I got VERY nervous again, not knowing what to expect. We finally went in and immediately we started talking to another coach there. She told us her story, and it was amazing, as is everyone’s. Soon my friend Josh showed up and then Dana. We sat down to get started, and the video we watched brought me to tears. Hearing coaches talk about how they started out with nothing, depressed, broke, and completely lost only to find a Beachbody coach that believed in them and how this changed their life forever gets to me EVERYTIME. There was great training in the video for coaches, which sparked an interest in my guests. At the end of the event, during the shakeology taste testing (which my husband and friends couldn’t get enough of) one of my guests started talking to me about possibly becoming a coach. I was very excited, as this person could make a difference in so many lives. This event didn’t only get to one of my guests, but it also made my husband think about possibly work with Beachbody as a coach as well.
In my opinion, these events are detrimental to not only your business with Beachbody, but to you as an individual. Something inside you gets touched and changes you. You feel more motivated to help others and do better in your own life. This event has also changed how I feel about these future events I will be attending. I’m always nervous about meeting new people in settings that I’m not familiar with, especially when they all already know one another, but today changed my attitude. Beachbody coaches are not your average people. They are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I will definitely be seeing the coach that hosted our Super Sunday today at the PiYo Certification course I’m taking at the end of the month. Today was an amazing day, I’m glad that my husband didn’t let me make an excuse, I’m glad I didn’t let my nerves get to me, and I’m glad I made that choice to go two weeks ago. I can’t wait for the next event and I look forward to finally meeting others from my team face to face! This company doesn’t just give you the opportunity to help others, but it gives you the opportunity to make some amazing friends, and expand your “family”. I can’t say that I have been happier with any other company or group of people. I am truly grateful for the opportunity I have been given and the people that have been placed in my life due to this journey I’m on.
